Journal paper has been published
The fifth scientific paper in the LandSlidePlan project has been published in the Mining-Geology-Petroleum Engineering Bulletin. The title of the paper is „Landslide susceptibility assessment of the City of Karlovac using the bivariate statistical analysis “, and the authors are Marko Sinčić, Sanja Bernat Gazibara, Martin Krkač i Snježana Mihalić Arbanas. The paper presents the possibilities of using limited input data needed for statistical landslide susceptibility assessment. The method used for landslide susceptibility assessment on a regional scale was Weight of Evidence, and the input data were 17 landslide causal maps and the landslide inventory map. The final landslide susceptibility map presents the area of the City of Karlovac divided into the classes of the low, medium, high and very high landslide susceptibility. Research results can be used for informative purposes and as a preliminary step for future research. The described procedures represent a significant part of planned activities for methodology development for landslide susceptibility assessment in the LandSlidePlan project.
