Scientific paper has been published
In the Journal of Maps, the eighth scientific paper created as part of the LandSlidePlan project “Landslide susceptibility assessment on a large scale in the Podsljeme area, City of Zagreb (Croatia)” has been published. The authors are Sanja Bernat Gazibara, Marko Sinčić, Martin Krkač, Hrvoje Lukačić and Snježana Mihalić Arbanas. In the paper, an analysis of landslide susceptibility was carried out on a large scale in the study area in the Podsljemenska zone of the City of Zagreb. The research showed that training the model on a smaller part of the homogeneous study area, for which high-resolution input data are available, enables the creation of a reliable and precise susceptibility map for the entire study area. The final susceptibility map for 130 km2 of the Podsljemene zone is divided into very high, high, medium and low susceptibility to sliding, and the degrees of accuracy and prediction for the used Weight of Evidence method are extremely high.
